I was in the mood for a pre-dinner drinkable and edible. The weather was so nice, it called for lingering. And I didn't care if it was indoors. So, Matt and I headed over to Elettaria, where I had the Capestrano...

...which paired perfectly with the Anson Mills Corndog. Seriously! Did you know red wine and corndogs were delicious together?! Okay, so back in the day it was lemonade and corndogs from Memorial City Mall for me. But clearly I have grown up. I mean, meat on a stick, with the most perfect breading and delicious mustard is a big step up. This corndog was ridiculously good. And the meat to breading ratio was parfait. Did I just say that? Meat to breading ratio?

Matt, on the other hand, took pleasure in the Southern Tier, Unearthly Ipa beer from Lakewood, New York. A little perfumey for me.

But who cares when there's a Keema 'Chili' Dog to be had with it. What?! This chili dog must always be a afternoon snack. Forget graham crackers and apple juice. And with that, we were off to the grocery store, to figure out what's for dinner.

Very eclectic; corn dogs and wine.
You are insane. But, you're my kind of insane... Chili dogs and anything is good! Red wine and anything is good, too!
Corn dogs... love it!
